“はくあ塾” was founded in May, 2024.
We(The founders) come from Shanghai, China and Kanagawa, Japan, who have years of teaching experience. Many of our students are now studying or living all around the world, including Japan.
Our intention of establishing “はくあ塾” is to inspire learners to find the joy of learning. We believe learning to communicate is the foundation of learning, inspiring interests is the key to learning, and understanding life is the purpose of learning.
Teachers are able to communicate and teach in English, Japanese, and Chinese, providing basic and advanced courses in multiple languages for learners of different ages and needs, as well as helping Chinese international students in Japan to learn in their mother tongue.
We offer various methods such as one-on-one, one to many, and group lessons. Detailed course arrangements and other requirements can be customized according to your needs.

Can I choose the time of the lesson?
Yes! You can decide freely according to your own convenience. If you need to change the time or increase the study time before the test, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Will it still be effective if I attend the online lesson?
Online lesson does not require commuting and brings more flexibility and less cost. Multimedia teaching materials are also prepared. Depending on the person, online learning may increase your concentration and interest in the learning content.
I've been absent from school for a long time, is that okay?
Yes, it's okay. Even if you are unable to go to school for some reason, you may be able to continue your studies at a cram school. Please proceed with your studies at your own pace without being restricted by the school environment. We will also help you think about how you should live your life and considering providing such consultations free of charge.
Can I ask the teacher questions after class?
Yes! We accept questions outside of class hours. If you have any questions, you can ask us via social media or email. However, please note that responses may be delayed. We also accept questions other than studies.
What kind of people are the teachers?
Hakua Juku was opened in Japan by two former school teachers from Shanghai, whose school always ranks highly in the PISA test. It is the perfect school for Chinese people who want to study or work in Japan in the future. It will also be a new experience for Japanese people who are not satisfied with their current learning. You can learn in a way that you can't find anywhere else, such as learning English in Chinese or Chinese in English. Even if you don't speak Chinese or English, explanations will be given in Japanese as necessary, so language differences will not be a barrier.
